Which source languages are supported?
Whisper supports ~100 languages. The most common are English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean into Vietnamese. You can leave it on "Auto-detect" or pick the exact source language for better accuracy.
Does it keep the original background music or effects?
The current version replaces the whole audio track with the Vietnamese voice-over — ideal for speech-heavy videos like interviews, tutorials and vlogs. Background-music preservation is in development.
Can I choose a male or female voice?
Yes. Pick a female (Hoai My) or male (Nam Minh) voice — both are natural Vietnamese AI voices.
Are the Vietnamese subtitles required?
No. You can toggle the burn-in Vietnamese subtitles on or off. Turn it off if you only need the voice-over.
What is the maximum video length?
Up to 200 MB per video (roughly a few minutes). The AI pipeline is heavy, so shorter clips process faster; each clip usually takes a few minutes.
Are my files kept?
No. Uploaded videos are processed temporarily on the server and automatically deleted after about 15 minutes. TaoClip never stores or shares your video, and the output has no watermark.
