How much can I enlarge an image?
You can upscale by 2×, 3× or 4×. For example, a 1000×1000 photo becomes 4000×4000 at 4×. Pick the level that gives you the resolution you need without making the file unnecessarily large.
What is the difference between Fast mode and AI mode?
Fast mode uses Lanczos resampling plus an unsharp mask — it is instant and works great for everyday photos. AI mode uses the Real-ESRGAN model to reconstruct fine detail, which looks more natural on low-resolution or blurry images but takes a little longer.
Which file formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG, WEBP and BMP images. The upscaled result is saved as a high-resolution PNG so you keep maximum quality.
Is there a watermark on the output?
No. TaoClip never adds a watermark to your upscaled image, and there are no usage limits.
Are my uploaded images stored?
