Audio Joiner plays files one after another (track 1 ends, then track 2 starts). Audio Mixer layers multiple tracks to play SIMULTANEOUSLY — like voice over background music, similar to a track editor in video/podcast software.
How do I make the voice stand out over background music?
Lower the background music track to about 30-50% volume, keep the voice track at 100%. By default, tracks added after the first auto-set to 40% as a hint.
What is the delay for?
It lets a track start later than the others — e.g. 1-2 seconds of intro music before the voice comes in, or timing background music to start exactly when you want.
How many tracks can I mix?
No limit, as long as each file is under 100 MB. More tracks means longer processing time since it runs in JavaScript in your browser.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs directly in your browser via the Web Audio API — your file never leaves your device.
