How to remove an object from a photo with AI — 3 steps

How do I mark the area to remove?
Use your mouse or finger to paint directly over the object you want removed in the preview — the painted area shows as translucent red. Adjust the brush size to fit the object, and use Undo or Clear painted area to redo it.
How does AI fill the background after removing an object?
The AI analyzes the surrounding area (lighting, texture, perspective) to naturally reconstruct the background filling the removed region, without streaks or gaps.
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
Yes, along with the area you painted (as a mask) — this is one of the few AI tools in TaoClip that needs to upload your photo to a server for processing via Google Vertex AI. It is deleted from the server immediately after the result is returned, never stored. You will be asked to confirm before it is sent.
Can I remove multiple objects at once?
